I have been watching the sky sports transfer centre and BBC sport like a hawk. Reading rumours and all the transfer news. But one thing is starting to show. England and the Premier League is slowly becoming less of an attraction for big players. Now my question is why?
Falcao has chosen to go to newly promoted Monaco where he won't be playing champions league football. So why there instead of the other options he had? He could of come to England and be on as much wages wise here than he is on at Monaco.
It seems players linked with the top 4 in the prem are choosing France, Germany and Spain over the premier league. Why has the premier league become less attractive? Years ago it was the place to be everyone wanted to play in England. Now Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga make the Premiership look pretty pansy.
Just thought I would throw this one out for discussion.
