A really bad England performance. Hardly any shots on goal, due to being surprisingly negative with so much backward passing, and slow and boring movement forward.
Hat's off to Malta. They were meant to get thrashed, but gave it a go and created some decent chances, but just didn't have the quality strikers. They defended well enough to deserve to keep the score down.

Yes, on paper we were meant to win about 5 or 6-0. A friend said a Kane Hat-trick was only 6/1 in the end, as it was backed.

In fairness, Gibraltar had a player sent off after 18 minutes.

Just to put this into perspective. France have beaten Gibraltar 14-0

Whilst it was a disappointing performance Gibraltar and Malta aren’t equivalents. Gibraltar has a smaller population than Canvey whilst Malta has a bigger population than Southend, Colchester, Chelmsford and Basildon combined.
