Essex CCC 2017

Middlesex have just beaten Lancashire, which is good news for those wanting another trip to Lords next summer!

Close - Essex lead Hampshire by 69 runs with 5 wickets remaining and one day to go. Come on Essex

Nip and tuck, could be a tight finish. Reading posts about my hero KD Boyce brought back some fabulous memories of the great man. COYE

That scrap for the final relegation spot is ridiculously tight.

I can't see Somerset winning at The Oval so final Somerset v Middlesex match could be crucial.

Hoping Yorkshire get skittled out today against Warwickshire.

A defeat for them and it'll be all to play for at Chelmsford next week!

Td out :(

252-6

Losing those wickets last night could bugger us

Lead of 76. Come on Foster!

242-7

Need a good partnership now. But, can't see us winning his now

272-8

Another 30 run partnership would be welcome.

6 down for Yorkshire.

Let us not forget they are playing Warwickshire, as well!

Meanwhile the Essex tail is wagnering!

Edit : Make that 7 down!

Blimey, bat another 10 overs and Hampshire will start needing to look at having enough overs to win!

Essex 362 all out

Essex lead Hampshire by 184 runs

Game on after lunch!

65 overs remaining in the match, it is going to be close.

Northants have beaten Notts in Division Two.

Notts were bankers to go up a couple of weeks ago!

Now they have a tough away game at Sussex, while Northants face bottom side, Leicestershire!
