Was 'The Young Ones' featured in the sit-com battle? Because it should have won.

Lenny Henry as the Nazi postman - genius. And now look at him in those motel adverts encouraging a whole new breed of casual racists.

alexei sayle's appearances in the 'young ones' are IMO one of the few funny things he has done.

The half-time report was magnificent, as was the 'Peak Freans Trotsky Assortment'. I always thought Christopher Ryan was massively under appreciated for his work on the show: 'Thank God for Habitat Sofa Coffins'.

Didn't get past the first round? That makes me feel very angry. I am starting to get aggressive. I can sense it.

I liked the policeman with sunglasses on and the street riot involving Madness.

What happened to Ben Elton?

Good shout. The policeman is edited out of the current DVD release and whenever the show is repeated on any BBC affiliated channel. I wonder why? Can you not broadcast the 'N' word even when its use is intended to show the endemic racism of the police force? What do you say Richard?

'You couldn't make it up'.

Amen.
