I just can't wait for the expressions on their faces when they stroll into the Hall and we turn them over. First game of the season and garenteed we'll be up for it and they will underestimate us.
There will be a few teams like that!
And that is why am confident we will finish mid table as alot of teams will think its an easy 3 points, just like last season.
Bring it on

i'm supposed to be in Norwich for the first weekend of August... so i'm sure the first game will be a great home fixture, perhaps sponsored by the newly-formed "that'll teach you for getting a season ticket Ltd"

Home for the first game would be nice, I would prefer Preston away not to be midweek and to be after september , that way I get to go up there and see my son at Uni. Hopefully some of the more local games will be saturdays as midweek away games are generally too much with work.

I just hope too many are not fannied about with by Sky

1st Game - Everton away

2nd Game - Man City home

Boxing Day - Arsenal home

Last Day - Liverpool away

Oh sorry, I thought you meant next season!

Considering two of my brothers-in-law are Leeds fans, that would be perfect for me too...

I would like us to play all of the other teams in the league at least twice spread randomly over the course of the season.

Well, I'm pretty sure that Southampton away will be either:

a. 30 September
b. 14 April
c. 21 April

as those are the dates I know already I can't make!

The last two seasons we have played Bournemouth in the league, I've not been able to make the away game, for the same reasons as those above, one wedding and one trip to Germany!!

Opening game:

SOUTHEND v. Stoke City

Boxing Day:

SOUTHEND v. Norwich City
May I first say: I told you so

May I secondly say about Boxing Day: I almost told you so

I predicted Wolves away for the last game, but got that wrong.

Close... but no cigar...

(Actually - good guesswork!)
Guesswork? I'll give you guesswork. A painstaking formula was calculated to arrive at the fact that we would be playing Stoke in the first game. I sweated day and night, and Stoke at home, first game, was an absolute banker - I mentioned it on here weeks ago.

Looks like you are o.k. then! Mind you long while to wait until the last game of the season.

Yup, it could have been worse, but as I posted on the other thread, I've just got the small matter of getting rid of a guest in time for me to get to the game!!

I think it will be quite odd though having to wait the entire season before I finally get to sit in the away end at St Mary's!! It would be good if we've still got something to play for then - place in the play-offs, maybe....???
