Now folk of ShrimperZone - I put a poll to you. Now Game Of Thrones has ended should I pick up the books are read them, thus ruining the suprises in store for Series 2 onwards, or should I sit tight to the televisual feasts of boobs, blood and gore in Spring 2012?

Troubled of MK....

Paul, you should know quite well that books are generally "adapted" quite heavily for tv or film. My advice is to leave reading the books until the show finishes, or at least only read whatever is relevant to what you've already seen, otherwise you'll be really critical of bits that are missed out or adapted when you see the next series.

Anyway, I'd have thought you'd be kept quite busy reading lots of baby info books about now! :whistling:

If you're in the mood for reading any book again, ever, best do so before Cox Jr comes along.

I'd say definetely read the first book mate, then you can compare it to the TV show and it is a brilliant read. If you want to go into next series cold then don't read any further. Daenery's boobs are wonderfully featured in the book too.
