John Gaunt is a self obsessed dick who has made a living out of repeating whatever he read in the Mail that morning. It's all very well being opinionated but when you do it for stardom rather than principle you're as bad as the people you criticise in my book.

So when Ken Livingstone likened an Evening Standard reporter to a Concentration camp guard why was he not removed from his position? Hardly gave that opinion in an intelligent manner now did he.

From someone who has not listened to TalkSport in over three years, I cannot see how anyone can defend Gaunt. That interview is actually a disgrace and it is that interview and such publicity like that which is taking the 'Great' out of Great Britain.

Go back and ask the previous generation whether you could speak to someone like that. (Especially on a national TV/Radio station). If people actually knew how to speak to each other then that's the first level of respect. Britain has lost it's way, and it's absolutely nothing to do with the immigrants invading the shores. It's to do with the fact most British people, young or old, have completely forgotten what the word respect means or what it stands for.

That interview completely sums up the above.

No doubt that will upset some, but that's the way it is.

I know they're not socialists MK, but they're hardly flavour of the month with the right either. That's my main problem with Labour and the Tories. They don't really stand for anything. I've got more respect for people like Lord Football - I think his views are barking mad but at least he believes in something.
