Gaza

Not in the grand scheme oflife no it does not but in the intrest of honest unbias debate yes it does because his unflinching defense of the jewish states no matter what isvery one sided hence much like yourself not worth debating with.

So you're a middle- of- the- roader?

As Nye Bevan used to say :-"We know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road. They get run over."

So, just to keep you all in the picture because as far as I can tell the BBC, and the media in general in this country don't deem it necessary. In the last couple of weeks Israelis have been killed and injured by 2 car attacks (I mean attacks by driving a car into a crowd) and two knife attacks. And yes, a Palestinian has been killed in Hebron whilst he was part of a crowd throwing molotov cocktails at passing cars.

At some point Israel will lose patience and retaliate. You can be pretty sure that the retaliation will make worldwide headline news, and if we're lucky there'll be a sentence at the end of the articles explaining that this follows weeks (or even months) of provocation.

I now feel I have proved my point, that there is a lot of selective and biassed (anti-Israel) reporting going on. It is that bias reporting that unfortunately means the general public don't get a balanced view of that is going on, and therefore base their opinions on a one-sided media representation of the issues.

As far as this thread goes, given that I now feel I have proved my point, I won't post any more. (Much to the relief of many of you, I'm sure.)

However, one last point worth making is to ask all of you how the Palestinian elections went because, guess what? They've been suspended indefinitely.

Please keep reporting this stuff. As you say, the media are becoming very selective on their reporting.
