Hal Robson-Kanu

Doing himself a world of good as he is currently without a club. Carry on like that and he will get himself a decent club, always liked him when we had him and wish him the best of luck. Except against England of course.

Imagine if someone had said all those years ago when Hal was playing for Southend that he'd be scoring a winner for Wales in the Euro 2016 Championships, we'd have all laughed.

Wales in a major championships!? That's just ridiculous.

Great player. Was always a huge fan of him when he was here. Looked as if he would be off to Swansea after leaving Reading, but carry on like that and he might get an even better move.

Must have been the sea air whilst playing for the mighty blues that turned him into the player he now is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, he's without a club....and we have a reputation for signing ex-players, only thing is he is not injury prone.

Forget about the rush for Irish passports after the EU referendum. I'm half tempted to look to see if I qualify for a Welsh passport. The Welsh team have got a togetherness that the England team could only dream off.

Robson-Kanu looks a very good player. Least his hamstring has held up, which is more than can be said for his debut for Southend.

He won't be a free agent for much longer! If Dwight Gayle is worth 10 mio Robson should be due a pay rise, well done the underdogs.

HRK was always a class act, and had huge potential when he was with us. Glad another Shrimper is doing so well!

Quite surreal seeing him score that goal last night totally mugged off three defenders and gave Courtois no chance!

Robson-Kanu apparently been offered £100k a week to join a Chinese side!

At his age he would be stupid not to take that offer!

I think the complete opposite.

At his age, this could be the form of his career. A move China would be for players towards the end of their career looking for the final payday who perhaps haven't got the legs in our game but in theirs they can still be that flagship elsewhere.

After two, three years in China where does he go from there?
