i'm quite pleased we showed being a bit more tough on the pitch, i think we have been to soft sometimes and about time it changed. i like bailey and macca attitude, there will to win is brilliant. you can see when they score they are over the moon and are fighting for the cause. i would rather this any day than some **** thats just here to get his pay at the end of the week.

the good thing is it looks asif macca has learnt to control his game without going physco and nearly killing someone. baileys lippy but who cares, nice to have a player that other teams hate as they always seem to come out on top.

remember thorton anyone, complete ****er but can't deny he's a good player.

I'd take every word of what the Huddersfield fan said as a compliment and an indication that we are heading in the right direction. A good team who can cheat a bit whilst winning....that will do for me!

Sounds like controlled agression to me

I agree. Delighted our players aren't seen as a soft touch and endearing themselves to opposition fans. The fact that we know our players aren't anywhere near as despicable as this bitter rant portrays them makes it all the sweeter.

Which is just as we like it ... and just what is required at the sharp end of the season. Strength and Skill with passion & attitude.

Keep it up lads, if the opposition are a little upset, your doing just fine.

Tbh I've had enough of other teams using these tactics against us, we need to be a bit more 'cute' at times as long as we don't resort to rolling around on the floor at the slightest bit of contact though then I'm happy for a bit gamesmanship to take place.

I dont condone Kanu's apparent elbow at all though.

We just need to cut out the gobbing off to the ref, it really doesn't do us any favours.

Agreed, it's been quite refreshing seeing Bazza in there trying to pull our more hot headed players out of situations - completely different to Maher who'd have been first in with gob flapping and arms flailing!

Its difficult to say whether being nicer to the ref helps to get more decisions go your way... although its a completely different world in my experience of Sunday league football the more you "gob off" at the ref the more decisions he is pressed into giving you!!!

Having said that cutting it back will mean us getting less bookings and as a result, less suspensions.

Basically, it pains me to say it but it's true. Huddersfield Town Football Club are an absolute ****ing joke. From top to bottom, the awards we won the other week are just papering over the cracks.

First of all, regarding the match - we weren't very good. Southend deserved to win, they played very good football at times and absolutely dominated the first half and we only got back into it really because of Andy Booth winning literally everything in the air and a mini second half revival that was ultimately short lived.

However, Southend United have the most detestable set of players I have ever come across. I'm not being bitter, because Southend very much deserved to win the match and they play very good football at times that will probably see them be in the playoff places in May, but after watching them today, I hope they wont.

Daryll Flahavan...he went into a 50/50 with Collins, Collins slid in to try and score because he had a valid opportunity to so do, with one foot and across the floor. There was inevitable contact, probably on Flahavans arm, and he kicked off like a complete and utter wuss, insisiting he be sent off and looking like he was about to cry every five seconds.

Nicky Bailey. The most gobby little ****, ever. Every tackle, and I mean EVERY tackle, he would be the first one with his mouth flapping and his arms outstretched whining at the referee, and caused a lot of confrontation with our players by having a severe attitude problemm. He quite clearly has the ability, as on the day he played very well and he has scored a lot of goals this season and apparently their best player...why he has that pathetic attitude I don't know.

Mark Gower - took a corner, whilst our player was having medical treatment in the other half of the pitch with the referee stood over him, and when the crowd having a go for him having no sportsmanship/intelligence whatsoever, started to goad them and I think he swore at them at one point so I hope that gets investigaed.

Kanu - all elbows, every bleedin' time he would challenge for the ball. Good gool though.

Like I said, they are a very good team, just with a detestable attitude.

What!? I for one will be writing to my MP about this, something needs to be done about this sort of behaviour.
