Keep Maher out campaign..

Thanks to John for locking the other thread for poor spelling mistakes in the title.. so here is a new one.

I cannot see why Maher should be recalled, so this is the Keep maher out, and keep Bailey and Macca in campaign.. a great midfield pairing in the middle!

All we need now is a decent winger!

I've disagreed with you on a few things recently but this time i am in total agreement with you, i feel we are a better side when Maher is not in the team, now being the saddo i am i've got some stats to back this up.....

With Maher in the team our record reads;

Pld 22 W 9 D 2 L 9 F 30 A 28 - Ave Goals For 1.36 Against 1.27 Pts 1.41

Without Maher

Pld 14 W 6 D 2 L 5 F 29 A 21 - Ave Goals For 2.07 Against 1.50 Pts 1.43

(I have included cup games and allocated points appropriately and i caounted the D&R LDV game as a draw)

From these stats we can deduce that without Maher we score more goals but also conceed slightly more but our overall points per game is slightly better.

From my own point of view i'd rather see more goals and more points for. So can i join the Maher out club please ??

Yes, i agree with that, i am an advocate of players challenging for positions constantly!
