I'd happily play the rest of the season out. I reckon this break has done us the world of good
we might even have some players back from injury

Not sure financially it makes sense for us, there are at least 3 clubs in league 1 that are on the verge of going (we are not 1 of them) and several others that are going that way (again we are not in those), however that doesn’t mean it is financially worth it too play. If your going to lose money and most will it doesn’t make sense, yes there are a few clubs who can afford too and who will not lose money (they may not make much either) But the majority do not fall into that bracketI'd happily play the rest of the season out. Think voiding it would be totally unjust - the football authorities should just say that the tables as they are now are final tables & only the playoffs need be completed. Not perfect but workable.Either they finish the season in full or they void it, no promotion or relegation. This really is a total farce now, can’t believe how long it’s dragging on with clubs selfishly trying to call the shots according to their league position.
Have to agree this is the way I see it.Think voiding it would be totally unjust - the football authorities should just say that the tables as they are now are final tables & only the playoffs need be completed. Not perfect but workable.

However would only be fair if everyone has played the same amount of games and not sure that is the case.
And vice versa of course! This is a nightmareAlso, teams in the play offs or autos may have played more of the bottom teams meaning technically easier games

As long as it is mathematically possible for a team to achieve you can't play god it's that simple,we were heading for league 2! But a lot of people left Wembley 5 years ago thinking no chance of league 1.The reality is teams that are doing well want the season to be completed with promotion/relegation, teams that are struggling do not. We wouldn’t have been wanting the season to be voided if this pandemic had arrived in 2006. Each club is looking for a solution that benefits them and there are valid points on both sides of the debate. It puts the EFL in an impossible position trying to find a resolution that is satisfactory for everyone.
That's the beauty of hindsight, five years later they will probably be right. As long as it is mathematically possible for a team to achieve you can't play god it's that simple,we were heading for league 2! But a lot of people left Wembley 5 years ago thinking no chance of league 1.
I love hindsight and should be a millionaire ?That's the beauty of hindsight, five years later they will probably be right.
It would seem UEFA do, would like top leagues finished and their European competitionsDue to exceptional circumstances the season could not be completed within the prescribed time. Wipe it out and start again as soon as a normal season can be arranged. Tough on some lucky for others . Who really wants to see half baked solutions after all this time.
So if the championship is recommencing and league two has just finished how on earth can there be consistency?
