Back to the subject of the original post ...........

.......... I do not expect the current team to have the same long run that we had last season ........ nor do I expect to see the same drop in form as last season either. I am hopeful that we (S.U.F.C.) will regularly pick up 4 points from 2 games and climb inexorably (nay, relentlessly) to the top of the table .......... and from there to even higher glories. Sorry, gone too far now. :stunned:

It will be interesting to see what team(s) we get in the FA Cup as many pointed the finger at that competition as being a factor last season. :tease:

I despair. If I was unclear, the owners have asked Mrs B to take a short break. Hence she's not on here beating everyone into submission. She's far from hiding.

After Cricko's message last week, we don't now need people sticking the boot in.

Time to draw a line and move on.

It's hard to draw a line and move on when some people are given a free holiday, whereas others (me) have been on here for years and not even been offered a weekend trip to Canvey.

Perhaps the owners feel you are too closely linked to The Human League ...............

i'm sure the stats from last season also show we played well against the bigger/bookies-fave teams (hello Portsmouth and Stevenage) and struggled against the less-fancied sides (erm, are Oxford and Carlisle at the bottom?!).
However I am very hopeful we can be more consistent as we have a better squad than at this point last year.

It would be good to get to round 3 of the FA Cup and get a prem team just to see what Ron Martin's timescale for FF is this season...
