Dreadful news.

Mike represented the Exiles at our liaison meetings, driving from Kent to take part in meetings. He'd been a Shrimper all his life.

Sadly Mike was taken by Covid over the weekend.

Terribly sad news.

I only got to know Mike over the last couple of years with him representing Exiles on the Supporters Forum.
A true Shrimper through and through, and a massive Elvis fan, he organised tours to Graceland, etc., for fellow fans.
He'd hardly missed a home game since the 1950's and travelled up from the Gillingham area for every game following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who'd started watching the Shrimpers at the Kursaal.

RIP, Mike, you'll be missed.
