Just changed my phone and need a new ringtone. Can anyone (probably one of our younger members) recommend a site ?

How about a nice low pitch hum.. Often on the phone settings as 'vibrate' to avoid annoying the ****e out of everyone around you when it rings..
(apologies but long journey in this morning with full house of ringtones, ipods and annoying birds talking **** on the train...)

I just copy mine off a CD and download them to my phone....no need to pay again for the same tune and no poxy text messages either. :D

Or my kids send them to me via bluetooth....;)

And I would like to think I am a "younger" member of SZ....

The best way to do it. Most phones come with a data cable these days so I use that to send MP3's to it from my PC.

I'm quite fortunate in this respect, as my Nokia uses a standard mini-usb connector and I have loads of that type of cable lying around at home...

I don't know why seeing as 99% of the time, me & the Mrs always have Nokias that we don't just bite the bullet and buy a £15 Nokia data cable!

Because every other year they change the connector type - that's why I shy away from buying nokia data cables.
The best thing you can do is pick up a bluetooth adaptor for your PC - you can get them for 10-15 quid and it allows you to send stuff to your phone regardless of what data connector it needs (so long as your handset has bluetooth that is, but 90% of nokias do these days)

Good point, I might just do that.
Just checked the connector though from my old phone to my new one & they both use the same data cable so things haven't been changed in 2.5 years!

Perhaps it's just the phones that I get then.... :p
Though as soon as you buy a data cable they'll change the connector on the next handset...! ;)
