You think you have problems with the stewards where you are! The black dreadlocked steward, stood on the perimeter in front of the east stand blacks last night, spent the whole of half time ogling the blue belles - in the centre circle while they were strutting their stuff, as they walked to the tunnel, and as they waited to say 'hello boys' to the players when they came out. He never took his eyes off them. He was locked on, with a Wilfred Brambell letching leer. Christ knows what he was doing under that long green hi viz jacket. He should have been watching me and the Mrs strutting our stuff in the stands. Well maybe not the Mrs.

It worried me the other week when the club read out a half time announcement to celebrate the 18th birthday of .......... "who is (was) a steward in the West Stand". That and the fact that last night we had one of our stewards joining in with the chanting before the match kicked off.
As Tinks says, some of those last night looked barely out of school!
