Spurs youngster Calum Butcher (centre-back) and local boy George Artemi being given a runout this evening against Watford. Is there good reason to consider bringing in players at this late stage? Perhaps it's just to give them the opportunity of a bit of first team football, with little at stake?

I don't think we can even sign free agents at this stage of the season. Id' have thought that we're either having a look for next season or we're doing a favour to these two (or their agent) and giving them a game for other Clubs to take a look at them.

So George Artemi's been invited back then... Interesting.

Butcher's a local lad, born in Rochford and grew up in Leigh. Had a spell with us before joining Spurs at 16 and has football league experience on loan at Barnet. He's a size at 6'2 and was an ever-present for the Spurs academy in 08/09, even making the bench for the senior side against Shakhtar that season.

Interesting to see how we got on, seeing that we ran them so close at their place and they were a bit fortunate to get a draw. According to their site they inluded at least three first team players...............in an effort to ensure the League title?

According to the Watford website, we won 3-0. No mention of goalscorers.

Really enjoyed the match we won 3-0 but Evans in goal was actually MOM he made some incredible saves could have been about 5 goals to Watford. Having said that we played some lovely 1 touch football. Really impressed with some of the youngsters Soares didnt do alot apart from score a goal. Thought the team needed a vocal player on the pitch they were very quiet. The noisest player was Moshni in the stand seemed just as excited watching the reserves as playing himself.

How did Calum Butcher look?

Herd played left side of midfield with Nesbitt behind him.
Thought Johhny did ok and took his goal well when he cut inside and scored with a neat right footed shot.

Evan's did make some good save's but his kicking is still very suspect and could be heard to curse it himself on a couple of occasion's.

Thought Alex Woodyard did quite well and the third goal in stoppage time by Seedy Nile was a good finish after some good control and composure

Herd reinvented as an attacking midfielder for next season? Perhaps, if he had not have been injured, this may have been tried earlier.
