I don't quite understand how mocking somebody's concerns in the press is going to achieve anything, no matter how trivial they are. I don't think that the tannoy system is a pertinent topic for an AGM, but as a shareholder he's entitled to his opinion and doesn't quite deserve to be aired out in the Evening Echo.
Anyone there would have heard my very pressing question and the reply from the Chairman who stated "Sainsbury's are not bank-rolling us, we are in partnership" amongst other replies
Every shareholder is entitled to ask questions but when over 50% of the time was spent asking the sort of questions could be answered by other means, such as a Trust liaison meeting maybe everyone felt that they were happy and everything at the club was in order.
