Senior Lives Matter.
I see, okay, it gets automatically moderated.. Isn't this all rather juvenile and pointless? Is it now politically incorrect or insensitive in some way to call an (mute word), an (mute word)?

Bollocks was seen as not being too offensive. As explained, embargo is on the list for different reasons. Also you won’t have seen all the nonsense the mods have had to remove around an embargo, so you’ll just have to trust us I‘m afraid.Thank you, but surely the word can be used in many ways without suggesting that we have one or note. I never believed we were in one.
Interesting that bollocks is clearly fine but not (mute word).
Or, you could be a little less sarcastic and recognise that we are a small team of volunteers who give up shedloads of time (and money) to create (in some of our cases) this site, run it and make it a decent place for people to come to. If we feel there is justification to moderate certain things that would seem to be perfectly reasonable, to me.All seems very odd to me, but I'm only a poor immigrant and didn't fully appreciate how much anger and hurt has been caused ty the use of the word.
Yes, okay then I'll trust you all to act in our best interests and to protect us from words we may find offensive.
Nah, stop being a dollop and keep posting mate. Variety is the spice of life on here.I am in fact full of admiration for the work you all put into running this site and I apologise if you have found anything sarcastic in what I said.
As this is the second time recently that I seem to have offended one of you, I'll suspend myself from further posts and go over to read only mode.
Briefly lifting my self imposed suspension to protest about being called "a dollop".Nah, stop being a dollop and keep posting mate. Variety is the spice of life on here.
Hopefully, someone will be able to provide an update as requested . Wednesday 20th July is an important date in the month . A group of club sponsors are meeting to decide on what action , if any , needs to be taken by ourselves to sort this very important matter out .Thanks E4B. If you could similarly update on Friday, when pay is due again, that would be really helpful - and hopefully a big relief for all concerned.
From what I understand they received balance of May Salaries at beginning of July just waiting for June's to be paid nowHopefully, someone will be able to provide an update as requested . Thank you for the update . If you could let us know when the June salaries get paid that would be very helpful .From what I understand they received balance of May Salaries at beginning of July just waiting for June's to be paid now
What he said.Anyone able to provide a legitimate update on the continued non-playing payroll issues allegedly still going on?
What departments are still awaiting June salaries, if any?
Any comms internally as to what is being done to rectify and when?
Because it's like asking why Tesco won't pay Sainsbury's wages. Two different companies.Certainly very strange how we seem to be able to bring in a new academy manager, numerous new players, and spend £2m on training pitches, but can't raise the money to pay a few backroom staff members. It can't be fortune in the big scheme of things.
I don't think the club would be responsible for paying for the training pitches. I would have thought this would be down to the development company.Certainly very strange how we seem to be able to bring in a new academy manager, numerous new players, and spend £2m on training pitches, but can't raise the money to pay a few backroom staff members. I know it might be detrimental to our signings but I hope they take a hardline stance and say "pay everyone or we walk", I want us to do well but not at the expense of people that work for us.I don't think the club would be responsible for paying for the training pitches. It has been mentioned further up this thread that a group of the club's sponsors will be meeting next week to discuss the late payment of wages issue. That could be very interesting.
The post I was talking about is number 271 above. I have tried to copy it properly, but for whatever reason it is not working. Anyway, the post reads as follows:I know it might be detrimental to our signings but I hope they take a hardline stance and say "pay everyone or we walk", I want us to do well but not at the expense of people that work for us.
