We are a local company who have been established over 30 years now with myself and other qualified tradesmen. We specialise in all types of supply and refurbishment and are currently seeking new work.

Due to the fact a local bathroom company went into liquidation owing us and our clients huge amounts of monies it left us culpable for putting two may eggs in one basket but, with legal claw backs and donating our own monies we were able to satisfy all of our clients needs.

We are therefore looking for new projects for our team and work. We have worked for several Zone members before and I hope they can qualify our credentails without naming them. We can also provide a portfolio of past installations.

We cover every aspect of refurbishments including all installation. Project Management-Design-Kitchens-Bathrooms-Carpentry-Plastering-Rendering-New Windows-Plumbing-Tiling- Electrics-Decorating-All flooring-Garden Landscaping-Driveways and so much more.

We have, after so many years a great realtionship with most of the biggest manufacturers in the country, so are able to offer very competative prices.

We pride ourselves on customer service from day1 to completion and beyond.

Please contact me by PM if you are thinking of having work/projects done in the near future or need any advise (no obligation)

Thanking you in advance.

Do you require experience for the bomb disposable role or would I be considered if I demonstrate a 'can do' attitude and can supply my own wire cutters?

Hi,

This is the first 'proper' post I've made on the Zone, but I wanted to pass on my thanks to John "Cricko" and his team for their work on the refurbishments and improvements to our home undertaken over the last couple of months.

Without listing in detail, this included electrical work, plastering, replacing several radiators, removing a partition wall to create a single lounge/dining room, constructing a false chimney breast to accommodate a new fireplace, redecorating, replacing three windows, and numerous other associated tasks.

Everything has been completed as required, in line with the very reasonable quote given, and to an excellent standard. John has been a great help to both my wife and I, offering guidance and advice throughout the project, and demonstrating a considerable amount of patience whilst we made up our minds on colour schemes, light fittings, carpets, and so on...!

I would have no hesitation in recommending John and his team to you all for any refurbishment projects you may be considering. Happy to provide more detail and pictures of the finished works if it helps.

Again, many thanks John. Sue and I look forward to staying in touch and working with you and the guys on the additional projects we discussed in the future.

Cheers,

Graham.

Get yourself down to the local Masonic lodge.

It’s probably worth getting on LinkedIn

What sort of job are you looking for?

In my game it most jobs are found through recruitment firms.

Data analysis, data science, BI, SQL. They're my strongest skills.

Most job websites are rubbish unless you can find one that is focused on your area of expertise.. You are best off registering with agencies and there will be ones who specialize in your skill set. It is worth really looking at your CV and ensuring it is fully up to date and well presented. Also if you do apply for jobs be really careful to carefully craft your application letter to specifically address the requirements and match your skill and experience to them. I have done a lot of recruitment and if this doesn't jump out to me when looking at applications they go straight in the bin.

Don't dismiss LinkedIn it is the default for all headhunters and recruitment consultants to do a search. Think of it as presenting yourself to the market - effectively you launch your CV to a very wide community in one go.

Also it is always best to look for another job whilst you are still in one - believe me! So don't be tempted to walk just because you are p*ssed off. Good luck.

Data scientists are very much in demand at the moment...

Update your Linked In status to actively looking for a new job and make sure your profile lists your skills and experience.

One thing. You may find local well paid jobs few and far between and have to commute...
