Andy, what material is the shirt?
Is it like last year's ones or the nasty rough material of the Century United shirts?

Yeah pretty much the same as last seasons, definitely not like the Century United ones.

It doesn't have the big ventilated patch on the lower back of the shirt like last years, it's just down each side this time. The front feels slightly different to the back actually. I'm liking it though and it's nice that the light blue goes on to the back also.

Have to disagree about the material. It has more of an elactisity and steatchyness about it. Feels nice, and got it a day before launch!

Makes me wonder what else they're going to do with the 'Paint the Town Blue' theme, it would be great PR to continue it right through the season and get the fans involved too.

Hey, that's not a bad idea.
Maybe on the OS they could create a page which could be used as a Fans Wall where supporters could submit (suitable) pics of them around and about Southend & even other places if they were exiled, and then use it under the "Paint The Town Blue" branding

Exactly. Think it would really get the fans & whole town involved. They could give out monthly prizes for best photo's each month. Anyone want to contact the club?

Went and bought the shorts today. Again loverly material, really lightweight....

New Sponsor on the back... South East Essex College .....In White...which matches the shorts
