Bigger parachute payments will guarantee those that go down can bounce straight back to the trough.
 
I probably have an unpopular view, but…..

It’s an absolutely huge industry now. It’s a business first and a sport second. It’s one of Englands greatest exports in terms of TV viewership and sales of merchandise. In some ways this new deal shows just how successful this country has been at being the best at creating a Football business model. Highest watched, second highest attended league in the world. Something we’re the best at….. something we should be proud of.
 
And again, @Shr1mperBlue I agree with your post.
But also believe the Premiership need to recognise that part of what makes the product so good is the history, the pyramid leagues, the hope AND the fans in the stands.
With power comes responsibility and they need to look down at what is happening below their lofty perches.
