Recently had virgin internet put in and I'm finding it hard to download as I get error messages saying I can't use these file sharing sites.

Anyone have the same problem and found a way round it?

It's a pain especially as all my shows are on sky atlantic which virgin don't do.

I think piratebay is blocked, Ive never had an issue though with anything else, but use newsgroups rather than torrents.

One way around it is to use a vpn (eg vypervpn on giganews.com). I use giganews but they too have blocked piratebay, but IVe not tested other sites.

I use www.warez-bb.org, have no problems. It's not torrents but direct download's that peop;e have uploaded to file sharing sites can be hit and miss sometimes but generally don't have many problems getting what I want.

I use http://jdownloader.org/ to dload, it's very good and you can queue files etc.
