does anyone think we a missing a player of SP's calibre? Not just playing skills more mentality!

Im not slagging the team off cos their record/position spks for itself! But I think on Saturday we needed a player going ape at his teammates and gesturing to the crowd to " Make some Fcuking noise" A bit of passion! I think Barrett is the nearest we have!

Thoughts?

not sure about the going ape at his team mates but fully agree on the other point , I would love to see a player gesturing to the stands for the supporters to wake the fcuk up or something along those lines. In their programme notes Tilly and Maher both stressed how important the vocal backing is to the team .

The same Stuart Pearce who has lost 6 on the spin as Man City manager?

I know what you mean but I don't think motivation is the issue. We need something to calm the nerves.

Of course I'm talking about the players, not the crowd.

It makes me shudder to think that the last person I saw doing this was Danny Webb!!
