He certainly was/is.

Spoke to Ben Abbey, who was in the Manor Lounge before the Oxford game.

Asked him what it was like to play for Webby.

He spoke very well of him and admitted that he needed a strong personality to manage him at that time.

Firm but fair (!) would probably summarise his verdict.
 
Do football agents give a toss, or are they more interested in the money on offer and whether they will get paid without a load of problems.

Football agents should consider what is best for their clients.

Anyone who does that (and maybe you are right that some don't) would surely know that their clients will get a fairer crack of the whip under SCP than Brown.

Are you suggesting that there were 'a load of problems' with the almost £250k paid to agents as per the recent press reports?
