Billericay Town

3 home games every 10 days gets a tad expensive at the back end of a season

Billericay have 700+ season ticket holders so quite a few of them not going even though they have already paid. At least they give out what looks like true attendance figures unlike most clubs that give the crowd as tickets 'sold' (Southend included).
With a 580 crowd last night I doubt they actually took much money on the gate and Tamplin thought they would get 3,000+ crowds!

They did a special for their last 7 homes games of the season, working out at about £7 per game for adults & just over £3 per game for under 18's.

Special? someone should tell Tamplin that not many people will go and watch his team if he is only prepared to pay them £7 per game, that is below the minimum wage. :winking:

Haha, no idea what (or if ?) he’s still paying them... :winking:

Dulwich 1-2 Tonbridge tonight, looks like the title is Billericay’s to lose.

Lady luck seems to still be with them, as they got a late injury time equaliser yesterday against Wingate in their 2-2 draw.

Billericay have got Dorking, Needham Market, Margate, Harlow and Folkestone

Dulwich with Leatherhead, Folkestone, Kingstonian and Margate.

Billericay's fixtures look better.

So on paper, it looks like the two horse race between Billericay & Dulwich will boil down to the outcome of both their fixtures against 3rd placed Folkestone Invicta.

I really hope Billericay miss out on champions and lose in the play offs. But unfortunately I really cannot see that happening. I would want them to do well if Glenn Tamplin wasn’t such a ****.

On the Essex non league team, Chelmsford are on a good run and could hopefully get promotion to the conference through the play offs.

Yep, we're in a strong position to grab a play-off place (hopefully 3rd) but realistically are still a long way from ready from competing in the dizzy heights of the Conference National. It wouldn't be a great disaster if we missed out on promotion.

If promoted do B'riccy go in Conference South straight off? or is there a play off against another league etc?

Am friends with the management team at another bostik league club and they have been to see Billericay a couple of times lately. Tamplin is sitting in the crowd with a bodyguard lately apparently and not involved with management

Big shake up in the non-leagues for next season, a new league being introduced at level 3 and only one team being relegated from each league at levels 3 and 4 at the end of this current season.

Dunstable should stay up with 13 points and 132 goals conceded :hilarious:

I see tonight that Daniel gay is in goal tonight against Billericay, could be busy in goal.
