Breaking News Morrison to return to Swindon

Hmmm. Time for Ron & Tilly to pull their fingers out. No excuses. We need players and lots of them, now!

Crap, hope M'Voto gets fit soon then!

But he's due to go back in January too! This is bad news if true, he's been excellent recently and developed a good partnership with Barrett. Saw him in his little car on the way back from training earlier, looked like he was giving one of the youth a lift. Never seen a footballer with such a crap car.

Apparently if he is fit we have agreed to extend the loan.

We have a deal in place to extend M'Voto's loan till the end of the season though, all depending on his fitness I believe.

Perhaps they were getting worried that he was enjoying his spell at Southend a bit too much. Playing regularly, he may also have started turning the heads of one or two other clubs. Some people may consider that Swindon have done us a double whammy...............taking back Morrison, whilst sending us back Revs.
Rather worried that M'Voto is not anywhere returning to first team football...... another headache for Tilly to sort out early in January.

Forget Mvoto we need a permanent centre back. Not bought one since Garry Richards in 2007. You need to build a partnership at the back, never going to do that playing a different centre back every month.

That's not good. I think he looks like a decent player. And one capable of heading it. Away from the action...

Having seen Swindon in the Cup at Fulham on Saturday(since we didn't have a game)I can understand why they wanted Morrison back. They were poor in central defence.Lacking pace, skill and authority.
IIRC, as Swindon made quite clear,he was only ever going to be a short-term loan for us,for him to get match fitness. Now that he's achieved that with us(as you say)I'm sure he'll be playing for them regularly in the future.
This just underlines the weakness of the loans system as we're currently using it.Granted we got a short term fix when M'Voto was injured but now we're just back to square one.We haven't had a permanent centre half since Peter Clarke left and he still hasn't been adequately replaced.

Its about time we started behaving like a real football club.

It's such a shame to see Dervite wasting away at Spurs - no appearances at all in the first team this season - when we would kill to get him back.
