Anyone following this?

The evidence I've seen so far appears pretty damning, a Monaco bank account in the name of his dog that he's apparently forgotten about. WTF?

I really dislike Redknapp, I've never bought into the 'Appy 'Arry cheerful Cockerney Charmer image that he portrays. I think he's a masty piece of work and of course he's ex an Spammer.

If he's guilty then there's no way he should be considered for he England job, but IMO he should never be near it in the first place.

Once again money and greed at the heart of English football

I hope Sky are pleased with the monster they have created :'(

Considered by many to be the best English manager at the moment but if found guilty of tax avoidance then he hardly has our nation's best interests at heart so shouldn't be in charge of our national team. IF found guilty. What he has said about Mandaric telling him he had paid the tax on it already - sounds like a rouse and I'm sure he has an accountant that he could check if that is acceptable - but the court will decide I guess.

For me it goes hand in hand with the captaincy debate, look at the "role models" we have in line for that particular honour

John Terry
Rio Ferdinand
Steven Gerrard
Wayne Rooney
Ashley Cole (included as a 'senior player')

hardly likeable characters any of them ...

Never liked him, never will. Saw this on twitter earlier and made me laugh.

"No income tax, no VAT, no Premier League points off Man City, in the dock, face so pale, Harry Redknapps going to jail. (to fools & horses)"

The problem isn't footballers, but rather a society which thinks what (and who) footballers get up to off the pitch is somehow important.

It isn't. The likes of bracelet thief Bobby Moore and alcoholic womaniser George Best were hardly any better role models for how to conduct yourself, but they were, quite rightly, judged as footballers rather than as candidates for the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Redkanpp, "I write like a 2 year old, I've never sent a fax or text and don't know what email is and I've never written a letter in my life"

Yeah, right 'Arry. I suggest you learn as you may have some time on your hands at Her Majesty's shortly.

The tax club is one that none of wanted to be members of. My view is if you can get around it using whatever loopholes are open to you then do so. Those must be legal loopholes though. The government has a duty to close those before they are exploited.
As for Arry, he is no worse than Sam Alardyce, George Graham or Brian Clough!

How the F*** did that happen, If that had been a Banker instead of a cheeky chappy football manager it would have been tax evasion,

Presumably he has now remembered that he has this money and that he should be paying tax on it and is writing a cheque as we speak.
