We've kept hold of Britt, box ticked.
Laird wants to stay so let's get that done, box ticked.
Tam. Not sure Millwalls stance on him but he is quality & if we dont keep him then its obvious we need a player to carry on the role he has been playing in the team.

Im sure luggy knows this as he's far cleverer than us lot, but Im feeling good about things right now.

And agree about Benyon, loan him out & get him off the wages.

My mate who is a Millwall diehard ST holder believes they need Tam back now as they have lost their way hugely over the last few games...........
He also wants Bomber back on loan. & believes he would be an ideal squad & impact sub for them still.

Welk Harris is injured and although Tam had been excellent for us there is no way he us up to championship standard at present, he still lacks a yard or two of pace.

Laird is a must for me, I reckon Orient would want him of the wage bill so that could be a quick freebie in January.

Tamika despite being slightly off the boil the last two matches is class at this level, can't see him staying beyond January unfortunately he is a not a youngster so he is ready made to go straight into the Millwall Matchday 18. If we lose him we need a like for like replacement.

Holmes (he would love to Join Blues) a must if ever possible, partly why I wouldn't be sad to see Barnet go down. Back to the Jan transfer window and more realistically, I would maybe opt for a pacey wideman. Despite having a soft spot for Martin, it's clear that Luggy doesn't really fancy him.

Wages wise, Benyon, Martin would be handy to offload - but guess it all depends what happens with Hall and Mohsni

P.S Would also like to see us arrange regular reserve games, even if against local ESL and Ryman North sides, be good to get Connelly (Worth keeping), Eastwood, Leonard, Woodyard, Bentley etc

I have been reliably informed that a deal for Ricky Holmes has already been agreed, pending the Ryan Hall transfer to Leeds.

In truth, one of the things that concerns me the most at the moment, is that we don't appear to have a quality replacement for Hurst, should he get injured or suspended. Don't know whether Martin totally fits the bill?

Sort of makes sense really. Local boy, who is a striker - Sturrock loves them - and he is also a winger which would be perfect backup for Hurst if he gets injured. A good signing if that happens.

Agree that Holmes would be a good signing - my Barnet mate reckons he prefers to play on the left wing and drift in behind the strikers. On this basis it's bad news for our Dave Martin, who I always liked - just a shame he can't get a run in the team at the moment.

With Gavin Tomlin I would expect there to be a 2nd year option on his contract as there was with Bilel and Dickinson. Good sense would be to negotiate with him now for a deal - could be based on goals bonus & promotion.

We are screaming out for a decent left winger in my book. That said be delighted to keep Laird and Tamika.

Timlin has done better at left of midfield lately and David Martin has looked ok/good when I have seen him, especially at Cobblers.

Yeah, read somewhere that Timlin is playing now in what his preferred position, and he's doing ok there too. Left wing not really a priority for me though I would be interested in Ricky Holmes coming to the Blues.

Millwall and Lorient may be taking it to the deadline to find other takers and any more finance for Laird and Mac.
What I want for the new year is for them both to sign...............please

And 3 pts V Gills.

Goes to show how valuable other fans opinions are.

If he thinks Harris would have an impact for them when he has barely had one for us when fit then his valuations cant be up to a lot.
