BBC says 9,421. Great news for cashflow, as does a Wembley final!

Everyone thinking of the day out at Wembley but the above is certainly true. Good money this evening and does anyone have any idea what we can expect financially from the Final, do we just benefit from the attendance money?
Another thing that will come from tonight is a great boost in confidence..........it may have been a draw but it sure as anything feels like a win. With Cresswell returning on Saturday, we need to get the promotion train back on track. Failing automatics, what's better than a Wembley Final?.......................TWO Wembley Finals!!!

Hope to see 3,000 or so extra fans at the next home game then, or not... Fair weather ******s get my back up. Great night all the same woohoo BLUES

Was just 8 when dad took me for my first game, nearly 40 yrs later and i get to take me 8yrs old son to Wembley, that's a whole generation ! Very proud day, chuffed to bits to see my little seaside club at our national stadium.

To see Southend United play at Wembley has been me and my brothers dream for well over 40 years. After too many near misses I pledged never to squirm through a semi final/play-off again. So tonight, as per the Crewe games and the first leg of this one (even though I could walk to Brisbane Road from here), I put the kids to bed early, my wise wife went out, I disconnected the outsde world and drew the curtains. It was just me, a bottle of Baileys and some pills (plus the Lord of course). Bruv rang the landline, as arranged, at full time. I couldn't hear him, but the bedlam in the background told me enough. I calmly put down the phone, sobbed, and opened a bottle of champagne. The phone/s are ringing off the hook, but this will not sink in for days - be very proud Blue Army! (p.s very touched to see Stanley Collymore's comments on Twitter tonight).

I feel a smug letter to the local paper coming on.

Finally, hearty congratuations to Mr Sturrock, who is much more respected by his peers than he his on here. Paul, I realise that you probably do not monitor SZ, but if any of your connections do - how about young Timlin leading the team out at Wembley on crutches?

A great night at the hall. The support for both sides was superb. Am I dreaming - I am sure I will wake up at some point. Wembley here we come. Still can't believe it. Let me type that again - Wembley here we come. No still don't believe it!!!!

Nice words mate

I see McNasty was one of the pitch invaders. I'd have thought he'd have known better. Disappointing behaviour. As I said to him on the halfway line while Britt Assombalonga tried to push past us.

Three generations just hugging (me crying) my son and my dad just standing in the west. Then of course on the pitch for a sing song
