Well, good luck to him - going up a league just as he reaches the start of the end of his career.

I thought he was a good player and added versatility to the squad/team by being able to drop into the midfield.

Loved the goal celebation at a cold and snowy Chesterfield - the only highlight of an otherwise lucklustre game.

Good luck to him, wasn't overly that convinced when we signed him due to his lack of goals at Daggers. But like Barry Corr proved he knew where the back of the net is. Don't think he will score as many as he did here elsewhere.

Again thank you for your time at the club but not irreplaceable.

Having retained Corr, I'm not actually too bothered about losing Tomlin.

Did he score when he wasn't playing alongside Britt?

Oh no :( He was my favorite player after he stuck up for me in the "Is Jesus black" debate with ferdinand in Madrid :hilarious:

All Jokes a side unless we are getting new bodies in I think he will be a lose as I cant see Corr being fit all season

Big blow for my mind. Decent player on his day. Lacked end product but could tear defenders apart at times. Remember Brentford couldn't handle him in the cup at home so showed he can do it against L1 sides.

Personally I think we saw the best Tomlin had to offer. He struggled at the start and regressed to the mean at the end. Good player on his day. L1 class? Not convinced.

Good move for him and i wish him luck.I enjoyed watching him play, got a very good footballing brain.Shame he has left but i think we all knew him staying was unlikely.

Personally think he will be missed. Excited me on his day when he ran at defences. L1? Not sure, but he will be missed IMO.

Verygood player for us and a massive reason we tailed off was due to him picking up that injury, he was electric, he and Britt were tearing the league to pieces, we will miss him.

This can't be right! What about all those people that posted saying he had signed a pre-contract with Gillingham and then all those "football agents" on twitter saying he was going to sign for them too?

Anyway, he will be missed and offers something that Eastwood and Corr don't have. I thought he started well and even though he seemed to lack confidence in front of goal he was still offering the team something. Thought he was our only attacking threat at Wembley too, although that wasn't hard with several defenders on the pitch.

This can't be right! What about all those people that posted saying he had signed a pre-contract with Gillingham and then all those kids sitting in their rooms pretending to be football agents on twitter saying he was going to sign for them too?

Edited for accuracy.

Definitely a loss, clearly had some real quality last season, combined with his desire and passion, his work rate really added to the team and he loved to run at defenders. Wish him all the best, not one to cry about but will definitely be missed.
