World Cup - Time to get excited

I love the world cup Good ad too. Looking forward to england..hoping roy sends the youngsters out and says have a right go at em. The likes of sterling, lalana, henderson, sturridge, cahill have been outstanding this season....

On a positive note I'm in Florida two weeks before the World Cup, so am there when it all kicks off, plus for England's two friendlies in Miami, although I'm up in Orlando.

On a big negative note we are flying back over Saturday night, so will miss the England/Italy game.

Amen to that SBH. I've been posting a 'World Cup Countdown' on FB over the last couple of months and we've got seven weeks to go now!

I'll not post all 13 that I've posted previously, nor will I post any still to come, but I reckon this should get a few juices flowing...

That goal...wow....the neighbours complained the next day as my dad and I went so mental....best and worst world cup of my life time. ...
I am really getting up for the world cup now....hope roy unleashes the youngsters....also watched the U17s win the euros tonight....we do have decent young players

I hate to say it, but I'm really struggling to get excited about it. I'm trying hard for my kids' sake. I want them to get as excited as I used to...

Today has finished me. Seeing Sturridge given the #9 shirt is a travesty, seeing Freddy released equally so. I have no doubt I will watch, but at this precise moment in time, I have absolutely zero enthusiasm.

Jesus. It's a number on the back of a shirt, for crying out loud.

Well said ESB. Sturridge should lead the line but will most likely get shoved out wide to accommodate the overhyped Rooney. I don't think the shirt numbers are that important. I'm sure lallana and sterling will start. They've been the two best English midfielders this season along with Gerrard.
