Gone back to more ordinary coloured boots, the high colour ones haven't been so lucky - well done Lenny!
 
3 league goals already, at this rate he's well on course to finish on his highest league tally for the club. Fans have always said he needs to add goals to his game. It looks like his finding them at the right time. A lot of clubs will see that goal and take notice if they wasn't already...

Why? I don't get that at all. Ron's aim for this season is still going to be to get promotion, for that he needs his best team, and that includes Lenny. Promotion is worth far more to us than the option of selling Lenny with 6 months left on his contract.

Of course, but just because I said I think he'll consider it an option isn't to say I think he'll give it much consideration.

It all depends where we are towards the end of January really. If we're off the pace compared to last season, or as someone posted in another thread the delta between us and the top teams is bigger making promotion unlikely... Then maybe that option gets more consideration...
 
Timlins free kick looks even worse than I thought. Leonards tracking back and winning the tackle blocking the shot is one of the best I reckon I have ever seen for us. He is out of shot when the Bury player gets the ball and must make up nearly 15 yards on him.

Not Timlin's finest moment, immediately after he could have made a tackle, I think but he dithered.

We are nowhere near good enough for promotion.

If you watch championship games on the box it's clear the gulf in quality is enormous.

Lenny will be gone in January for sure. We'd be mad to turn down any offers above 500k with add ons.

L1 to Championship is of course a massive step. You have clubs in the Championship that have, or have had, their parachute payments in the tends of millions. What is the prize money for winning L1? Not a great deal in comparison.
