Official Match Thread Leyton Orient vs Southend United - Leasing.com EFL Trophy

Our 3 strikers that are all too similar on the bench then, what a clown.

Anyway there’s a few of us here, bring it on.

Josh Wright not in the team or on the bench. George Marsh making his debut on loan from Spurs, a “tenacious tough tackling midfielder”, plus Harrold starting. I fear we are in for a tough night here but COYB

Is it just me or do you not think it a bit strange that with his back to the wall, one win in the last 8 matches, no league points, no clean sheets and a squad devoid of any confidence (and no more matches for nearly 2 weeks) that Bond hasn't picked his strongest squad tonight with a view to maximising our chances of winning handsomely (to nil), buying himself some more time with the Chairman and fans alike and lifting spirits all round? I'm not familiar with the strength of Orient's team tonight (presumably neither did he before he announced the team) but it looks like he has potentially taken bit of a liberty with the team he has selected to start. Lot rests on the likes of Kiernan tonight - who to be fair to him is still getting himself up to match fitness.

Jeezus wept! What is that clown DOING????

No offence to Acquah but he's not even been on the bench at all this season and now has the pleasure of shouldering the lone striker duties in a team that, to me, in whatever formation it's supposed to be, looks like it's shoehorning players into positions they're not accustomed to.

Just staggering.

Another competition we are not taking seriously with the line up our clueless manager has chosen.
Please get rid of Bond

This is going to be interesting. Note Mantom is straight back in as captain. What a bizarre move starting Acquah, yet another huge shot of confidence for our strikers that is. Could be a stroke of genius or ... a huge great taxi for Bond.
