Good. Hope the little c*** gets banned for life. I’ve noticed a minor sea-change in our support over the past few years, with the right-wing chavs multiplying exponentially in number. We’re a lefty trade unionist/Essex white flight Tory club by tradition, but there’s been a real proliferation of incidents like this in recent times. Sign of the political climate, I guess.

The vast majority of O's fans are great . Just decent loyal fans similar to ourselves , realising our limitations . O's have always been my 2nd team. In fact i was sitting in the main stand alongside my O's mates , ( made a nice change from the Bond abusing hatred)... very diverse + plenty of ladies + children present all around. But right at the back of the right hand side of the stand , a complete chav totally let himself down and throughout the whole match , loudly abusing his own players ( especially Martin Ling's son when he came on ) , swearing + shouting racial abuse. It was very embarrassing for everyone , and the disgusting rant continued as we walked down the stairs after the match. Now he was a scrawny , tattoo necked gimp complete with baseball cap back to front , bandy legs and drugged up eyeballs. Now , as i was a guest in the area i said nothing , but what amazed me was that nor did anyone else. They just let it carry on as though its acceptable. No stewards , no police , no one even told him to shut up. This is the sad face of society and sadly everyone has to suffer these idiots whilst spoiling everyones enjoyment.
If no one stands up to these numpties , then they win. I have several times stood up to these types of characters at our games and they soon shut up . Almost always they are henpecked stupid idiots who are all mouth and no trousers. Or of course if you dont want to court a confrontation then a steward should be called to stop the bad behaviour.
Unfortunately Empty vessels make most noise.
Anyway , Andre Blackman was probably our 3rd best player on the night , behind a magnificent Elvis and a solid Ox in goal. And if you werent one of the 308 fans there , we actually played ok , and were all over an Orient side despite our man disadvantage

In these dark times for the club, do we really need to put up with an Orient fan pontificating about politics and muh evil racism in the Shrimpers chit chat forum? It's bad enough with remainers inserting their snide little comments in the Pub. I very much supported the removal of the Politics forum as it drove an unnecessary wedge into our support, but can we have posters respect that if they want to get political, then **** off to Twitter. Cheers.

Now now children lets not point score on such a serious and hugely damaging subject for Both of our clubs.
Good of Jonny to call out his own fans and he is not responsible for the poor behaviour of us lot in the politics thread.
Yes Tom those snide remarks we all have to suffer in everyday life are annoying but I really don't think Jonny was attempting to do that......In this case.
It is very much a football matter and we have had incidents ourselves this season so maybe the Mods could make this a thread of its own. As it clearly has far more consequences than the silly cup we didn't even try in, so that we could give Orient a much needed boost. We even left Bond in charge to help them out.
Be warned. I was going to football in the 70's and there has always been racism as you all well know......Yes politics and football are linked and that won't change but lets not blame the current trend on Brexit or lack of Brexit so don't start political point scoring.
Well worth a debate....If we can behave and if mods can remove any posts that don't stick to the core of the subject.
