His people skills weren’t allegedly great unless he liked you. Of course he did give us the Wycombe game and promotion as you pointed out before. No.....Not for the reasons everyone else might list and now is not the time.

It wouldn't work because there is endless fake news about PB. The latest on here is he wouldn't be any good with young players.....Bentley, Payne, Lenny, Dru, Elvis and Kyp before his serious injuries prove otherwise.

Now before anyone says he didn't sign X or Y. There is far more to managing a young player than just the coaching side of things......It starts when they are whistled over from the youths to be part of a 9,10,11 a side games etc...If they feel part of it, they will be it.

What you don't do is leave them on the side for 40 minutes, forget their name and be more interested in your latest Harrods brochure.

You can’t have Lenny in that list he was already an established player when Brown took over.

What point are you making?
The only thing I take from that is you understand the club and the game in general better than the rest of us.

Simple question was would you have PB back to which you have given a reply that is ironically Campbellesque in nature.
Why answer a straightforward question with 'not the time'.
 
Not sure what he is up to work wise thesedays, doesn’t seem to be involved at any club or make media appearances. Most broadcasters have culled commentators/pundits over the age of 50 recently so he may struggle to find a new role!
 
Would Phil Brown step into the breach and forgo the comfort of the electric beach?

GIVE ME PB WITH fAGAN AS ASSISTANT MANAGER . pPB ON AN 18 MONTH CONTRACT WITH FAGAN TO BE HIS PREDECESSOR AFTER THAT TIME .
 
Man was a self obsessed tool who tried wanted every job up north but nobody else wanted him. His love of a big name whose legs had gone but attitude was terrible is the start of the reason we slided in the first place. He won the play offs with a team that should have walked into automatics, he missed out on play offs in league 1 by 1 point, but people conveniently forget the atrocious run at the end of that season which meant this was not a feat but actually a failure. Keep him away from my club!
