Hell. That's a difficult start. Harrogate will be so full of adrenaline for their first League game they could roll us over. Then the longest trip of the season to Carlisle. Then to top it all bloomin' Morecambe who always beat us.........

.....and I thought I was negative!
The weirdo has left the building, now we’ve got a chance to beat any of these lower League stiffs!

Once fans are allowed in post Christmas I can from Orient onwards I can see us having some massive away followings if we're having a semi decent season!

Also potential promotion parties (we can dream right) Col Ewe away or Orient at home?

Really?
Can't see us taking many (if allowed) to Newport, Grimsby or Port Vale in January even if we are doing well.

Yeah Grimsby and PV don't really interest to be fair, but if you look at the fixtures post Christmas (the away games people would want to be attending this season) least we have a chance with them all being later in the season!

Perfect!
An opening day side who are on a roll, and tipped for two promotions in a row.
Given a choice, might have preferred a Grimsby or a Mansfield, but I guess Harrogate are there to be knocked off their perch.
Just wonder how many games we'll be allowed to attend?
Would like to knock of said Harrogate, as well as Barrow, FGR, Salford and Newport as grounds yet to be visited.

Tuesday 20th April 2021. Promotion confirmed at Colchester away with a win also relegating them. Would be a dream come true. Lets hope Covid-19 allows crowds to full capacity by then to witness this dream

Optimism from Wiggy....? Let's add to the well of despair by pointing out that we face four of the best teams in the division consecutively in October: Exeter, Cheltenham, Salford and Tranmere. :Thumbs up:

Think Bolton, Mansfield and Forest Green might have something to say about that as well.

Agreed. That's why I said "four of the best" not "the four best." You can only go by last season's performances at the moment of course. Cheltenham looked very good in that first round play-off but were then blown away by a very physical Northampton side. Exeter are always there or thereabouts, Salford have a lot of money and Tranmere were on a good run at the end of the season. Your views may vary, of course......

Tuesday 15th December under the lights sees the return of Bilel. Ready to play the pantomime villain

Those Christmas games are tasty - lots of overtime for Essex police if away fans are allowed!

You'd think they could allow fans in the League Cup and Trophy games as a kind of trial run before the league starts as the crowds will be smaller. What difference is a few weeks going to make? The virus has pretty much gone...
