But 4 of them are over 27, so how can that be possible, as you turn rubbish after that age!!

I believe he was offered a contract but chose Maidstone instead.

It turns out he made absolutely the right choice for him personally and i'm pleased for him. He was one of the many long term injuries CP suffered. At the time I was told he had snapped almost everything you can in a knee so highly unlikely to ever play again.

Not true. It was Maidenhead

Also interesting that no club has more than 1 player in there. Shows how there are quality players across the league.

Joe McDonnell was someone I was hoping we'd target but think he signed a new contract this summer.

Lots of people mentioning the one player from each club on Twitter and querying why certain other players were not in there instead. In truth there are probably dozens of candidates for this team but of course only 11 places.

No it doesn't.

It cant be true because there was no manger before MM and he was not an academy player. Who was he close to signing for?

It certainly can be true as there have been umpteen instances of Ron offering contracts outside of having a manager in place (often supposedly on the advice of the coaching staff in place whether or not they are listed as first team coaches).

That doesn’t mean this is true, but it could be. On this occasion I think it’s a wind up, but it’s not true to say it couldn’t possibly be true just because there was a gap between Sol leaving and MM signing his contract.

That's starting the youth team early. I hear that's how Jesus came through the ranks.

Barratt was a casualty of the embargo. Nothing else. We had to make space and he was the unlucky party.
You're probably right but with hindsight you do wonder make space for what ? someone worse ? It looks a misjudgement by someone or he preferred the idea of playing for Alan Devonshire.
