Great point against one of the top teams. We were on top for long periods of the game and missed several chances to win it.

Over the 90mins IMO we were by far the better team.

The run goes on. 12 unbeaten now.

Grimsby Tuesday night next,

Fantastic support again from the 800 travelling Blues fans.

Over to you guys,

Losing 0-4 to Chesterfield seems forever ago now!

A great point and with the way everything is, it looks great for next season. Could lose the loan players but they have shown they can now find good replacements.

Good job guys.

Well done lads. It sounded like a great game. The scoresheet showing a penalty and an own goal might make you think we were a bit fortunate, and Powell's missing a golden chance doesn't help but we certainly deserved to draw and could have won that. Excellent. Bring on the trawlermen... we can net them.

For once listening to the team on BBC Essex was a pleasure with the two Glens doing a great job. When we scored our second I was listening on headphones and poor old Maurice the rescue cat and Mrs RHB suffered a degree of deafness and shock when I screamed 'get in arrrrrgggghhhhhhhh'. It's a good time to be a Shrimper ain't it?

Bloody Brilliant performance. Chesterfield have only lost twice at home all season, Wrexham and Notts Co. and we have had to come from behind twice. But the team's heads didn't drop, the fans were fantastic yet again. It's easy to follow a team when they are top of the table, but after what we have been through on and off the pitch for the last three years, we are there week in week out. We may not be going anywhere this season, but it is great to say that, but we are still playing and no-one's three point banker anymore!

next season we will be right up there, make no mistake! Onwards and upwards!

UTB!

Good performance against a strong Chesterfield side who may well be a league team again next season.

Bring on Grimsby in what could well be another 8k crowd.

Maybe you should take a look at their fans Board Tommy. At the moment their world has collapsed after dropping points to us and they reckon Stockport and Boreham Wood are in the driving seat.
