I went to the Taunton game yesterday James was captain. Welling are a strong formidable back line force but like most teams lack quality in the final third. They Rode their luck a few times with Taunton missing a one on one with the keeper but 0-0 reflected both teams upfront issues

Exactly this. He was under the impression he had another year with us, and could have provided some leadership on the pitch which I actually thought was a bit missing yesterday. Denied that one extra game which would have given him the additional year.

After a year at Welling he’s off to Dover.
