Breaking News Support The Team Not The Regime! New update 24/11

What we need is fully published accounts, which will highlight the scale of the problem and exactly where we are overspending.

Is this why they haven't been submitted? To make the whole situation very vague and not open to scrutiny to any interested parties? If i am wrong please correct me........
I answered this in the AGM thread about the accounts G.

About not being able to afford the £30k fee?

That fee would be for the whole group companies House of Cards. The SUFC element of that would be peanuts, why would we be paying for all of the companies accounts?

If he can't pay for his accounts elsewhere even more evidence of not being fit to run a business.

I don't buy that for a minute

A lot of pressure on Ron right now. Personally i think we should have negotiated a deal before any money is offered to help out. I'd like to see the club sold in shares to the fans like Barcelona. I am willing to help but I do think some movement has to come from Ron Martin first or the drama goes on.

Probably smoke and mirrors as usual.

RM doesn't want help from anyone, he wants all the glory, and profit, for himself.

One thing RM is not is stupid, he is very savvy and the club debt is orchastrated in such a way that it is all owed to himself or group companies. He holds all the cards and has SUFC pants down, over a barrel. If the Club goes bust he still owns the land and PP for 100's of homes which far outweighs what he'd lose in owed 'debt'.

It's a win/win for RM, not so much for SUFC.

Can someone please CONFIRM exactly which other clubs fans have donated to our appeal?

I've heard folk mention Oldham and Notts County, but unlike obvious twitter evidence from Wrexham folk I can't see anything from other fans for those or other clubs, but I've probably missed it amongst the deluge of all other posts etc

I'll then do a similar tweet from SUEPA to other contributing club fans as I did for Wrexham earlier as that tweet seemed to work quite well with over 60 likes which may well have led to other donations.

Thanks
A quick read of the comments from those donating on the GFM page shows one reference to Notts County, one to Orient and numerous to Wrexham. All brilliant but you have to single out Wrexham, absolutely fantastic from the Welshmen. True class.

yeah that’s what I’ve been thinking. He can build the flats with or without the club. And the stadium is owned by him not the club

Thank you. I'll get on and do something re Notts (who have an over 16,000 sell out attending their match on Saturday - a bucket collection there would be good!) and Orient. Not sure where the Oldham reference came from

They haven't been published because the accountants haven't been paid

Regards the accounts (or lack of) I always assumed it was a criminal offence to not register accounts with companies house. Not only that it will incur hefty fines, strike off orders and personal liability for all the listed Directors?

Anyone more knowledgeable able to confirm?

Martin Dawn and SEL have strike offs I presume for late filing, so how long until SUFC LTD follows?

I found the following from a business rescue and recovery firm:

1. Failure to file accounts on time is a criminal offence under the Companies Act 2006.

If you fail to file, criminal charges and/or fines of up to £5000 may be brought against the director, with the possibility of making them personally liable. Ultimately, directors are responsible for the filing of a company’s accounts.

2. Your company could be struck off the register.

Any assets would become property of the Crown and the director may become personally liable for any unpaid debts.

3. You could be held in breach of your duty as a director

… to promote the success of your company or to exercise reasonable care, skill and diligence. This could lead to a claim against you by the company or possibly a liquidator.

If you are late with your accounts, your company will be incurring large fines. There is also the possibility that your credit score has been affected, which could limit your trade terms with certain suppliers.

In certain cases you can appeal any fines, however the following reasons DO NOT count as valid reasons for late filing and will not prevent action from Companies House:

• Your company is dormant

• You can’t afford to pay

• It was your accountant’s (or anybody else’s) fault

• You didn’t know when or how to file your accounts

• Your accounts were delayed or lost in the post

• The directors live or were travelling overseas

I completely understand why the GFM is set up and will definitely donate, WHEN, there is a clear statement showing how this money will be used and distributed. I know it has been posted 'it is to help the unpaid staff' but how will it be given. If it in anyway goes through the club then you can forget it. None of my money will be used to be syphoned off for his benefit, i.e. keeping the club going. That is his job. (I know I give money to watch etc that benefits the club). It is admirable that the Trust and PG have 'loaned' money but this is just kicking the can down the road. This club will not fold. Ultimately if there is administration on the horizon surely he has to sell before that to get any of his 'pot of gold'. No more helping him out please. Lets bring this to a head. By all means support the staff and team but not him.
Apologies, I could have written this to a number of posts but didn’t have the time earlier.

With respect, you are basically calling the Trust idiots. Do you not think they have the same concerns? Do you not think they will ensure that this is done “right” Its actually really insulting to ask this, it’s like asking a grown man if he has tied his shoelaces

I didn’t think the Trust committee had to spell this out as frankly is bloody obvious that they are going to ensure the money goes to the people that need it and doesn’t go to Ron
