Supporters Group News New Group Statement 28/02/23

I was with an orient fan last night ... a highly respectable individual with a professional background in banking -

he ended up participating in the pitch invasions at Orient - actions that contributed to changing the ownership ..

the most important thing we have now is a united group of supporters groups who can represent us - to the National League. the FA, the council, the media, the governemnt - whoever.

we need this united group of fans organisations to be formally and legally constituted.

then we can move forward -

once we are organised we can discuss options like with holding season ticket money ..

until we have this organisation properly sorted out we remain a rabble
Pitch invasions are frowned on these days, you’re likely to get a ban or get nicked if you do that RB. Season ticket money, yeah there’s a plan.

He borrows against the land and future development. You can be sure as eggs are eggs though that he pays himself enough to cover his living.
I can't be the only one that finds it totally absurd that one can borrow so much against something that doesn't even exist, and with the continued brinksmanship, it may never come to fruition.

I can understand a bit in advance, but surely not the sums that must have been borrowed since FF became a serious plan.

I believe Season ticketing equates to about 750k at Southend. He delays payment to everyone, including the HMRC, and as a result everyone at the club suffers including the staff. If we did the same to him, he would realise it has impact. Most if not all of his financial dealings he has zero control over. If for once he engages with the fan base, he knows he's getting that money, so do we really think it won't bother him. It could have huge implications for his project. It's just in his control when.... by answering to us .... his stakeholders. It's time to call his bluff.....

You’ve got to wonder what “proof” they’ve been shown that FF is happening. We keep being told it’s a matter of weeks, months .. whatever.. but who ****ing knows ..

I think a collective effort to hold back season tickets is a great idea. That would gain a lot of traction in the media too I would assume.

Thing is, most fans have had enough anyway and it’s effecting everyone’s mental health with this constant drip feed of problems that they wouldn’t be renewing anyway!

Thanks Phil. Assume you must have a vested interest in Boreham Wood seeing as you have gone to the trouble of finding more pictures of the works. After Spurs and Southend, are they your 3rd team?

I genuinely don't care what they are up to.

The whole building infrastructure there is heavily subsided by Arsenal so its an eniteley different situation to ours.

Me saying something about a club with an average home gate of just over a thousand, isn't condoning the state of Roots Hall.

This was posted today.... its called twitter mate.

FYI - if I want to follow Southend and Spurs, be bitter all you like. Many SUFC fans follow prem teams, though this argument has been done already and is extremely boring.

You can disagree with me on here about absolutely everything, I really couldn't give a s##t, but if you want to follow Ron, as your profile picture points to, I don't have to.

Why can’t we attract infrastructure that is heavily subsidised. Good on them for running a successful business and attracting inward investment. You have successfully highlighted how SUFC has been run into the ground and we can’t keep up with clubs with 1k gates. That is a reflection on the owner

What you are getting frustrated about is a football club having money making facilities that we don’t.
