I was going to ask the same thing. It doesn't look good on the face of it. Hopefully his just got an injury and decided not to travel.

Edit: Speaking of RB's, no Demetriou either?
Demi is out of contract- so under NL rules because we are under embargo would count as a trialist…and do can’t play? I assume Ralph and Bridge must be under contract or somehow have dispensation to allow us up to the 16 contracted player limit.
Probably Demi will just wait- don’t think he’s going anywhere

I know for a fact that Ralph wants to stay. He’s had offers but is settled and loves the club. I’d expect him to sign a contract when/if embargo is up.
Didn’t we have an option- maybe league have allowed to activate it given we have under 16 contracted players- otherwise he would count as a trialist!!!!

I suspect he'll be one of the two non contract players. An extension would have been banned under embargo I believe

I kinda guessed he wanted to stay, or he would have left by now.
But, even in our parlous state, and his obvious attributes, he's vulnerable.
He's been injured every season since 2015.
I did have the percentage of missed games for us, but am guessing it's around a third or thereabouts.
Nothing against the guy, but earning wages sitting in the stand is not a good business plan.

Must be a bit disheartening for Clifford after being a regular in League 2 can't get in the starting 11 in our current state. Think he needs to break back in this year or move on. Could be that he needs a side that play 4 at the back.

I think you've summed it up in your statement. If he can't get in the team in our current state, he really can't be deemed good enough.

I've always said his best and only position is in a flat back 4. He may possibly get a bottom half of the table side playing in that role, but I'm not positive. He certainly won't be getting into side as a LWB.

Either way, he needs to move on for his own good. He really has suffered with all that's gone on. Watching how low his confidence was at Yeovil away the season before last, wasn't nice viewing. He needs a clean slate and maybe he can find a level to stabilise his career and kick on.

Brilliant to see wood do so well. Had a good season at a lower level and just needs more confidence when he steps up the league ladder. Hear is well thought of amongst the players and management.
On the negative side, Cardwell has injured a hip flexor in a recent warm up.
Mooneys tribunal got adjourned which although it means we didn't lose it, its the worst scenario as he clogs up a place in the 16 we're allowed and most probably isn't playing or leaving until it's sorted.

Mooney the only tribunal, or are there others?

Lomas wants away too and hadn't been present up to last week but don't know where it's at with tribunals in respect of him. When only 6 or 7 players could be paid last time around, he may have been one them ...I don't know.

Playing Oldham will depend on whether we can put a team on the pitch with adequate subs. It may involve youngsters if the embargo isn't lifted very soon. Out of contract players still owed money and that are wanted are at the very last straw on the camels back.
We also have no keeper coach or credible reserve keeper.
We owe a utility company approx 100k
