Can you not (as you appear to be the one to have the most correspondence with him) ask him to be more specific with the statement that you have emboldened, namely if they are realistically to return to the EFL, ask him in a polite and dignified manner to kindly put a timeline to this target.

To be fair given his proximity to Canvey I'm not sure why the Dengie Option has not been utilised.
Over here the process would be for a "family" to accidentally tarmac the wrong driveway & then threaten the lucky tarmacee with numerous menaces. Good luck to Rent a Dick on Benfleet Rd defending that. Ouch!! That would then result in the local "family" counter-threatening the incoming "family" with "get off our land" or "if anyone is tarmacing that drive it's us" resulting in a brief dispute.
The result would be either a part sh*te tarmaced drive, barely passable by a Challenger Tank, & someone with several broken limbs or a revised version of a relatively undriveable A12, well who the feck wants to go to Cullchester anyway, fully macadamed but with the same limb injuries.
Well that's this side of SWF anyway & I can't see Ronald the Rat as a tarmacee with his coiffuirement issues being in the tarmacing fraternity, so it's "Divorce your wife she's still your sister".
