I'll have a guess that no ex-players will be involved and there will be no "celebs" either. Just a good group of businessmen (some or all bar Rees with local attachments) from different backgrounds, with a multitude of skills, contacts and ideas and access to a reasonable pot of cash to pay the bills on time will do me. Most of all they need to get the club and it's people.

I'm sure they will be given a warm welcome.

Yes, as I posted yesterday morning that's pretty well what Anna Firth said, who I believe does know who makes up the consortium.

Either local people or with local connections however no stars etc. but she believes a good fit of business acumen.

The clown that was used in our impressive Southend protest march, should be kept and displayed somewhere in the ground, even if it is at the back of block Z.
Just to act as a reminder to all of what one man can do to our club and to never again to return to that stage in our history again moving forward.

Yeah I’m not in the know with regards to the consortium but Stan hasn’t mentioned us at all on Twitter despite finally getting rid of Ron - it’s certainly crossed my mind that there may be a reason for that….

I think we should not forget that we owe a lot to Stan.

I honestly don't think we would be where we are today if it was not for Stan.

He set the wheels in motion of getting rid of Phil Brown, putting forward the names of Tom Lawrence, and the 3 amigos.

be very interesting to find out who the others are then and what level of financial clout the have. Don't even want a moneyball model. Just want an efficiently run club that picks up the best talent in our catchment and is consistently competitive whatever division we're in

I agree i think Stan was the man that got Kev and co together and John still ..Ron would never of appointed them . We owe alot to Stan IMO
