A very good Morning all. Zero sleep but all so very worth it.

Does anyone know if I would be able to park at Roots Hall tonight? I do not normally drive to the games but my Dad's mobility is bad right now.

Least we'll be able to watch this match without going through the pressure of the last 2 and the next 1 (hopefully 2!!)

Would be nice if the ticket counter was working for this match. Would be interesting to see the hopeful spike in tickets being sold post Gateshead and last nights result against Rochdale.

Some of my favourite Southend United players. Can’t wait for this. After last night too everyone should be in good spirits.

Such a shame that it’s been poorly supported so far. Not sure there is anyone in Southend United’s existence that deserves this more than Kev for all he has been through.
Kev even said in his interview with Dazn that not many tickets had been sold. Felt really sorry for him.

I have a ticket for tonight but won't be attending. If anyone wants it then please message me, no cost but please donate any spare change at the ground tonight.

Will be there regardless tonight, but I do find it odd why this was not rescheduled.

I understand these things are tricky to organise but will be plenty of knackered Shrimpers who won't be up for another evening out

Please don't take this personally, as your gesture is kind, but the aim of the match is to generate money for Maher. People should be buying tickets rather than taking them off other contributors, even if they find a way to donate to it.

I won't be going but will also be buying a ticket to support the cause.

I have done the same as you, bought a ticket but will not be attending.

If there is someone who wants to offer personal support to KM but cannot afford to buy a ticket then they can take up my offer and if they have a few quid to spend in the ground then all the better. I am sure Kev would also like to see people in the stands.

I'm pretty sure he's got family coming in from Ireland. Not easy to reschedule.

I'm glad we won last night for obvious reasons but it would have made for a potentially awkward atmosphere tonight if we didn't. Plus it's hopefully pushed a few new ticket sales.

Exactly, can you imagine if the season had petered out and finished a few weeks ago what it would be like tonight. Also I think those going tonight should get first refusal for FGR tickets 😜

Fair enough! Should be a great evening regardless and yesterday's heroics should enhance that atmosphere

I suppose it would have been more respectful if the atmosphere hadn't been awkward if last night's result hadn't gone our way. This is about a long term servant of our club as a player and now our manager, who has stuck with the club through it's darkest times, irrespective of current performances. For that reason, i'll be giving him a warm round of applause as a thank you
