The pitch at Roots Hall is coming up too, and there are a lot of matches being played on there at the moment from people hiring the pitch (I played Tuesday night).

Plus the commitment made by the people involved in the game. Very difficult to just rearrange it.

Just bought 4 tickets for me and the family. We can't make it, but wanted to contribute anyway. I bought 4 restricted view tickets as I couldn't find a non-existent stand for people that couldn't make it. Hope that doesn't cause too much of a headache.

Looking forward to tonight. I first came to Roots Hall in the late 80s but always think of that 04-07 team as 'my' Southend team even more than the ones when I was a kid. Will be great to see so many of them play again.

Some of my favourite Southend United players. Can’t wait for this. After last night too everyone should be in good spirits.

Such a shame that it’s been poorly supported so far. Not sure there is anyone in Southend United’s existence that deserves this more than Kev for all he has been through.

My boy werent going after just 3hrs of sleep, now he's rustled up a whole gang of mates and theyre off to Roots Hall tonight after i had a word on the subject with him. 20somethings might not understand, but this is truly important occasion to be supported, anyone with blue in their veins should be there if they possibly can.
