Ticket News Forest Green Rovers 21st May away tickets-Play-off Semi Final (SOLD OUT)

That's more than we were led to believe, definitely seems like FGR don't want to encourage the support we give our team to count against them.
...and why if your revenue is otherwise challenged would you stymie a big pay night?
If their team is good enough, it won't matter there's a 1,000 plus rabid fans cheering you off the pitch.
Or maybe not...?

Think this shows the need for the loyalty system to be reintroduced/reconsidered for away games again next season.

Probably the fairest way to do it in the circumstances, but someone who potentially only went to Rochdale away shouldn’t be more entitled to a ticket than someone who’s done 15-20 away games this season and couldn’t make Rochdale for whatever reason.
I think in one of the liaison meeting minutes there's mention of a members scheme - where I expect for an annual fee you can buy priority ticket status.

The problem with the away loyalty is (a) in nl the admin for it is horrendous and (b) away fans ticket sales aren't putting money into the club.

At the end of the day there probably isn't a perfect scheme, whoever misses out on priority will think they should have it.

No mention of it in the article, but I presume it’s 1 ticket per person again.

Just to put this into perspective, some Youtuber from Blackpool who enjoyed the game in our end and put out an entertaining clip of the game, gets a chance of a ticket at FGR before a SUFC season ticket holder does !
Absolutely bollocks.

How about the seasos that travelled to Rochdale when we were ****?
I just think seasos should have a fair chance at an important match. Thats without me putting my personal angle in.

A few words of wisdom from the FGR site:

Ticketing Update

EESI South Stand: There are now fewer than 100 tickets remaining in the South Stand.

Candriam East Stand: The East Stand filling up nicely with only a handful of individual seats left.

North Stand: Currently the best availability for home supporters to purchase tickets.

Away Tickets: For any away supporters looking to buy tickets, more information will be released on Southend United's website, including how and where they can buy their tickets from.

Parking

Our Park and Ride will be closed for this game.

Our school car park and main car park are now fully booked for the upcoming play-off semi-final.

Supporters may use surrounding streets for parking, but we kindly ask that adhere to local traffic regulations. Parking is now only available when dining in our Carol Embrey Suite.

Only 5 days until we play FGR.

Any news on when tickets will be available?

I Understand our allocation will only be 750(15%) for this one.

It's another longish slap on a week night to a area that is quiet and without much to offer for pubs and eateries etc.

Can see plenty of southend in the home end if tickets are limited.

So assuming these things are correct:

It’s supposed to be 15% of capacity
The away end holds 1000
So 736 is 14% of total capacity

Maybe making the other 264 seats in the way end unavailable drops the available capacity so that 736 is now 15% of capacity. If that’s what they’re doing, then it’s a choice to write off about £5k to keep the noise down. That doesn’t seem like a confident club.

I’m a season ticket holder and was there last night, so a priority 1.

However, my daughter’s boyfriend bought the tickets and he’s not a season ticket holder so not sure how that’s going to work.

I guess I need to go down there or ring them and plead my case.
