Wembley tickets

Chaps - so when these tickets actually go on general sale on Sunday, will they all be via the Southend website or also via the Wembley website too??

Which do I queue in? Both?

It's a simple narrative for Oldham and Southend. "Big" clubs aren't hampered like this so treat both clubs same as them and let you guys have your day at Wembley, allowed to "fill the place" too.

There's plenty of avenues to go down, worry not, it can and will be highlighted plenty in the next week.
Stan 1.0 was pretty good
Stan 2.0 was pretty good
Stan 3.0 (2025 edition) still knocking them in!! 😂

Love it!

As farcical as the situation is, one thing from the statement gives me hope that everyone who wants to go will be able to:

"These stakeholders have been supportive and engaging which we are grateful for, and work continues to find creative solutions to lift the capacity.

We will continue to work with the parties mentioned above and other stakeholders over the Bank Holiday weekend with a view to identifying a road map to increase our allocation."

All parties are in a rush against time, and delaying ticket sales until we have the final allocation figure was just not feasible. The first batch of tickets needed to go on sale this weekend. Some initial data on sales from tomorrow will also strengthen our and Oldham's position that 17.5k plus x won't be enough to meet demand.

I'd hope that conversations over the weekend plus a bit of PR (Stan is on it already!) will see additional tickets released early next week.

So is there any chance of getting 35k+ or is that a total no go now?
Quite right

I’ve done

I suggest those on X particularly those with some “reach” get tapping

I went with

@DavidBSampson @StanCollymore @BBCSport @SkySports @ITVSport @DAZNFootball @TfL @MayorofLondon @TheVanaramaNL @FA
How can this utter mess happen? Who’s responsible? Who will fix it? A major event with predicted 60k attendance and London and the football administrators can’t cope

But have little reach. Do not underestimate how much acute embarrassment results in action- but it needs to be out there quickly

Ticket numbers limited to 17.5k non coach travel fans, you only get more if you book by coach and these numbers are likely to be limited due to the lead time!

Being punished due to the closure of the tube stations despite the fact other major events have taken place under worse circumstances.

All of this out of the control of the clubs and fans, which they obviously don't care about

Absolutely zero consideration for the fans, as if the National League Final doesn't matter. How the supporters of both clubs are being treated (and the club's themselves who will miss out on huge revenue) is an utter disgrace. This Final could have seen a 60,000+ crowd, make no mistake about it - but it's 100% clear that the "expected Final" didn't involve Southend or Oldham, it was a shoe-in for York vs Forest Green and a small attendance.

Absolute joke and the supporters of both clubs are rightfully furious.

On a side note (and the only positive one) I'm delighted to see @StanCollymore invited as a guest of the club to the Final. Without him we may not even have a club to support right now, never mind in a Wembley showpiece. Enjoy it Stan and all the very best.

Have you guys been capped on numbers? We have a limit of 17,500 ticket only and a maximum of 9,000 more if they are booked with coach travel…so the question is how many coaches the club can find! So far only 50 so around 2,500

It’s an absolute **** show with season ticket holders limited to 4 pp when loads had family and friends looking to join the party.

Going by other clubs playing in the play off all tickets were through their clubs

What a shambles.

I wonder if we'll be able to book specific blocks or will they be only opening blocks up as others sell? We've a group of season ticket holders buying their own sets of tickets but would love to be able to sit near eachother.

Personally - I think every supporter should make a stand and just boycott the match. Let them play in front of an empty stadium. It’s the only way the people who purport to run the game can be taught a lesson. Sadly they continue to take supporters as complete mugs. Captive audience etc and our devotion to the club let’s them get away with their corruption.

The problem is even if we get more later on it totally screws those wanting to block book and be together

With (or without), taking the p’ss, and thanks for Stan’s message of comfort and support, if the majority booked on as many coaches as possible…….that plus 17,500 would make a grand day out
