Wembley tickets - more to be made available 7:30pm Thursday

Yes I've used priority shareholder rights to obtain tickets several times - most recently Rochdale away.

It's on record from a liaison meeting around the time of the Charlton game that the absence of shareholder priority for that game was an oversight.

All shareholders are owners, Ron was a majority shareholder as are COSU.

There has been no communication on withdrawal of the rights.
"Should this situation arise again, something could be sorted out to
include shareholders as a priority. He added that plans are on the radar for a
loyalty membership scheme to start for supporters next season."

I didn't see any communication for tickets to Rochdale or Forest Green that specifically mentioned these Shareholder rights so I guess even though quoted in trust liason minutes it was overlooked again.

All I'm saying is perhaps this needs an overhaul. It was a scheme operated under the previous owner with a track record of delivery on his promises. It only takes 75% of the ownership (which COSU holds around 90% (ish)) to amend voting rights on shares.

Possibly better to have a "Club 1906" where each year you have a membership of say £10 which is ringfenced for spend into a particular area of the club. This then allows for priority within a set order to cup games, difficult away allocations etc

Thanks for getting the extract from the minutes. It very much appears to me to be a deliberate oversight. Once, maybe accidental, twice careless, three + deliberate.

I do think a membership scheme is coming which may well replace priority ticket rights for season tickets and shareholders.

It's not really TfL's fault. It is down to the league to check these things.
And the FA.

TFL would have arranged these works months in advance. The NL should have negotiated properly but naively they probably thought FGR would be there so weren't worried about a reduced capacity.

It’s terrible planning, they should have planned for any combination that could happen in the final.

This is the best outcome really for Wembley and the national league in terms of money yet they are going to leave huge amounts of money on the table, and it’s for that reason I can see a breakthrough on Monday fingers crossed 🤞
Edit: Tuesday not Monday as bank holiday

I've already shelled out for non-refundable train tickets from my home in Lincolnshire. There are others on this forum who have booked flights from other countries to attend this match and now we all risk not getting a match ticket. It's odds-on that the rush for the likes of us who can only purchase online will crash the club's computer system at midday tomorrow. I've supported this club since 1966 and now, in my old age, risk missing what may well be my last chance to see my team in a Wembley final. Gutted!

Any sign of an early queue at the ticket office?
There was uproar at some other clubs ticket office recently (can't remember what one) after tickets sold out online in minutes leaving people queuing at the ticket office without tickets.
If you can get them online I'd recommend that - the system can probably handle hundreds of fans per minute versus the ticket office handling 1 or 2 individuals per minute

Why Monday - it's a bank holiday
